This on-site opportunity is based in Charleston, SC, with a yearly salary range of USD 48,000 to 53,000. The role centers on staffing hospitality clients, shaping candidate and client experiences, and guiding recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end deployment and ongoing management of HSS's workforce solution at client sites.
- Develop recruiting strategies and expand networks to proactively fill current and upcoming openings.
- Engage with channel partners as needed to support staffing.
- Post community notices and signage to attract candidates.
- Support social media recruiting efforts as required.
- Maintain daily contact with clients to ensure staffing needs are met.
- Visit client properties as necessary to assess on-site requirements.
- Continue to source new business within existing properties.
- Track the status of open and filled orders on a daily basis.
- Maintain required documentation.
- Partner with clients to arrange training for candidates lacking necessary experience.
- Onboard new hires through structured training and supervision.
- Verify new hires complete background checks, drug screens, and all required paperwork before starting.
- Conduct and manage candidate interviews.
- Address performance issues or employee relations matters for assignment-based staff promptly.
- Complete daily activity reports and related administrative work.
- Process weekly payroll by required deadlines.
- Ensure meetings and updates with clients and talent are recorded in the system.
- Lead weekly safety meetings and provide training to property teams, documenting safety training as required.
- Attend property morning meetings regularly.
- Deliver excellent customer service through timely follow-up and clear communication with clients and employees.
- Complete works compensation incident forms as necessary and coordinate with Risk to move claims toward closure.
- Handle tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, hotel management, general studies, or equivalent experience.
- Previous staffing industry experience with on-site management is required.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- High level of communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and typing skills.
- Experience using internet job boards is highly preferred.
- Approx. 50-75% travel around the local area.
