Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the HSS workforce solution
- Create recruiting plans and build networks to proactively fill current and upcoming openings
- Engage with channel partners as needed
- Post community outreach materials to attract candidates
- Support social media recruiting as required
- Maintain daily contact with customers to ensure staffing needs are met
- Visit client properties to assess needs and opportunities
- Continue sourcing new business within current properties
- Track open and filled orders daily and document accordingly
- Partner with clients to arrange training for candidates lacking experience
- Onboard new hires through training and management
- Ensure new employees complete background checks, drug screens, and other paperwork prior to start
- Conduct and manage candidate interviews
- Address performance or employee relations issues for assignment-based staff promptly
- Complete daily activity reports and administrative tasks related to hiring and payroll
- Process weekly payroll by established deadlines
- Keep client and talent updates current in the system
- Lead safety meetings and provide weekly training to property teams
- Document safety training as required and participate in property morning meetings
- Deliver excellent customer service through timely follow-up and clear communication
- Complete workers compensation incident forms as needed and coordinate with Risk to close claims
- Handle assigned tasks and projects as they arise
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, hotel management, general studies, or equivalent experience
- Experience in the staffing industry with on-site management required
- Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic typing skills
- Experience using internet job boards is highly preferred
- Approximate travel of 50-75% locally
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without restriction
