Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcer)

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcer) to support hiring leaders and HR business partners with planning and proactive recruiting. This onsite role in Virginia Beach, VA helps drive the recruitment strategy for open positions, including sourcing diverse, high-value candidates and supporting the selection process.

In this position, you will help anticipate future employment needs, execute recruiting plans for assigned business units, and manage a high volume of roles. You will also participate in screening, interviewing, and testing activities while serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs, identifying strategic recruiting solutions to address them.
• Manage recruitment for open positions within assigned business units, focusing on new sourcing resources and proactive recruiting of diverse, high-value candidates.
• Perform tactical and strategic sourcing to help business units proactively source and place top talent.
• Execute and facilitate the overall recruitment strategy, including screening, interviewing, and testing, while partnering with hiring managers.
• Participate in projecting future employment needs, developing recruitment plans, and improving the employment process.
• May lead projects and maintain effectiveness across a high load of positions, including a variety of roles and/or roles that are hard to fill in areas of greatest need.

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of Human Resources experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous recruitment experience (Corporate, Health Plans, Healthcare) strongly preferred.
• Candidates located in the Hampton Roads geographic footprint (within 50 miles of 1330 Sentara Park, Virginia Beach) strongly preferred to attend recruitment events.
• Previous experience organizing and hosting virtual and in-person recruitment events, along with the ability to travel to events.
• Experience building Talent Pool and using CRM tools to build a talent pipeline.

Compensation

• Base pay range for full-time employment: $68,598.40 - $103,396.80 annually.
• Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
• Pay within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
• If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
