Talent Acquisition Specialist - Sales Agent Recruiting
Job Description
Drive end-to-end recruiting for sales agent talent by partnering with sales leaders and building proactive pipelines using recruiting technology.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership to understand recruiting needs, workforce plans, and talent market dynamics.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-performing agency sales candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and talent community engagement.
- Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract agency sales candidates in competitive talent markets.
- Provide sales leadership with market intelligence, candidate insights, and recruiting recommendations as a trusted talent advisor.
- Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates while maintaining a strong candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
- Use recruiting technologies, data, and talent intelligence platforms to improve recruiting outcomes and pipeline health.
- Represent American Family at recruiting events, industry networking opportunities, career fairs, and agency sales-focused talent initiatives.
- Develop relationships with professional associations, universities, and external talent communities to support long-term pipeline development.
- Use tools including Workday, Beamery, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms to identify, engage, and nurture prospective candidates.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Demonstrated experience and success sourcing and hiring passive candidates for senior-level roles.
- Demonstrated track record working across teams to identify talent needs.
- Demonstrated experience with relationship-building, communication, organization, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Comfort and experience engaging with senior-level leaders across the organization and within candidate pools.
- Extensive knowledge of clients’ business strategies and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for sales organizations and revenue-generating teams.
- Experience using Workday Recruiting and Beamery.
- Experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify and engage sales talent.
- Insurance, financial services, or corporate sales recruiting experience helpful but not required.

Salary
- USD 69,000 - 115,000 per year

Location and Work Model
- Madison, WI (hybrid)
- Flex office/home role requirement: work a minimum of 10 days per month from an office location (Madison, WI; Phoenix, AZ; Hopkins, MN; Denver, CO; St Joseph, MO; Englewood, CO; Boston, MA; Keene, NH)
