Job Description
Talent Acquisition Recruiter role in Sterling, VA (hybrid) for TechnoGuard Incorporated, focused on full cycle recruitment and new-hire onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for designated roles, from posting to offer and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to capture staffing needs, role specifications, and timelines, and craft clear, engaging job descriptions.
- Proactively source, screen, and evaluate candidates via job boards, referrals, networking, and social channels.
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, assess qualifications, and advance top candidates through the hiring stages.
- Guide candidate applications in Paycom with accuracy and compliance and ensure timely updates.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring teams, including follow-ups and panel sessions when needed.
- Track interview data, candidate feedback, and recruitment metrics throughout the process.
- Provide timely, professional communication to candidates and hiring managers to maintain a positive experience.
- Coordinate start dates, onboarding plans, and orientation logistics with HR, training, and operations teams.
- Facilitate new-hire onboarding and ensure completion of pre-employment and onboarding documentation.
- Support workforce planning by aligning with training and scheduling teams to meet staffing needs.
- Maintain organized recruitment and employee documentation in line with policies and compliance requirements.
- Participate in weekly standups, trainings, hiring meetings, and other HR-related sessions as required.
- Organize and support hiring events, job fairs, and employer branding activities as needed.
- Assist HR with projects, reporting, and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Stay current on talent acquisition trends, sourcing strategies, and best practices to improve hiring outcomes.
- Keep informed about employment, background, and recruiting regulations across all states TechnoGuard operates in.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Experience supporting recruitment or HR functions within construction, field services, manufacturing, or similar operational environments preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems; Paycom experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with online sourcing platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Comfort conducting interviews and collaborating with candidates and hiring managers via video tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Demonstrated urgency and accountability to meet hiring timelines and adapt to evolving staffing needs.

What you’ll get
Salary range: USD 65,000 to USD 85,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
