Job information

Location: San Jose, CA (onsite)

Base salary range: $102,600 – $174,400 annually

Compensation may vary based on qualifications and experience, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or incentives and restricted stock units. Day one benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) plan with company match and paid time off. TikTok USDS is moving toward a fully in-person schedule up to five days per week.

Join the TikTok USDS Talent Acquisition team as a versatile partner dedicated to supporting the Trust & Safety organization. You will act as the core recruiting engine for both operational and technical safety roles, collaborating with senior leadership to scale foundational operational layers such as Content Operations and Scaled Moderation, while executing high-complexity searches across Safety Engineering, Policy & Integrity, Threat Intelligence, and Safety Data Science. This role operates in a regulated, fast-paced environment, leveraging talent intelligence, capacity planning, and data analytics to build high-velocity pipelines and influence leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Dual-Track Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead end-to-end hiring across Trust & Safety, balancing massive high-volume pipelines (Content Moderators, Safety Specialists) with niche technical roles (Safety Data Science, Anti-Abuse Engineering, Policy Directors).
  • High-Volume Pipeline Optimization: Design and manage scalable recruitment strategies to meet aggressive headcount ramps, optimize top-of-funnel conversions, streamline assessments, and use automation to reduce time-to-fill while preserving quality.
  • Technical Sourcing & S P / T S Alignment: Apply advanced sourcing, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence to engage passive, highly sought-after technical talent in product safety, fraud/risk ops, digital forensics, and content compliance.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Consultation: Act as a primary talent advisor to senior Trust & Safety leaders and HR partners, deliver local market insights, capacity planning guidance, and proactive pipeline solutions.
  • Empathetic Candidate Assessment: Implement rigorous screening that evaluates functional fit and cultural alignment, ensuring a high-touch, respectful candidate experience within content moderation and digital safety contexts.
  • Offer Architecture & Negotiation: Manage the full offer lifecycle across varied compensation structures, from scaled base packages to complex senior technical offers with RSU/equity considerations.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Analyze recruiting data and funnel metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend data-driven adjustments to hiring strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including at least 1 year supporting Trust & Safety, Content Operations, Risk/Fraud, Compliance, or Technical organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse requisition portfolio, delivering both high-volume hires and complex niche searches.
  • Strong funnel and data fluency with the ability to use pipeline data and market benchmarks to influence leadership decisions.
  • Advanced sourcing capabilities (Boolean, X-Ray, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM databases, and niche platforms) to map passive talent in constrained markets.
