Job Description
TikTok is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to support Security & Privacy, R&D, and Trust & Safety within TikTok USDS. This onsite role in San Jose, CA leads full-cycle recruitment for both highly technical and non-technical positions in a regulated environment, with a salary range of USD 102,600 to 174,400 per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple business lines, focusing on Security & Privacy, R&D, and Trust & Safety, while remaining adaptable to recruit both technical profiles (such as Security Engineering and Data Science) and non-technical roles.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR partners, assessing talent needs, sharing market insights, influencing hiring decisions, and recommending optimal recruitment strategies.
- Implement strategic sourcing through innovative techniques, market mapping, and talent research to attract top passive candidates in competitive technical and security markets.
- Screen candidates by evaluating technical capabilities, business acumen, and cultural fit, ensuring a seamless, high-quality candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Drive interview and offer processes, leveraging internal parity data and market intelligence to propose salary ranges and close complex negotiations.
- Partner with hiring teams to analyze pipeline metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive recruitment solutions based on data insights.
- Navigate the regulatory nuances of the USDS environment and lead TA initiatives such as pipeline optimization, interviewer training, and referral programs to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including at least 2+ years dedicated to Technical, Security & Privacy, R&D, or Trust & Safety organizations.
- Proven ability to manage diverse, complex technical and non-technical requisitions simultaneously, including exposure to leadership-level hiring.
- Strong analytical skills and data fluency to diagnose pipeline challenges and present clear, actionable solutions to leadership.
- Advanced sourcing proficiency (e.g., Boolean, X-Ray, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools) with demonstrated success in complex talent mapping and engaging highly passive technical talent.
- Experience leading leadership and specialized technical searches, with a track record of independently closing senior-level candidates.
- Experience operating within a large, matrixed organization, able to navigate complexity and align multiple senior technical and business stakeholders.
- High intellectual curiosity with the ability to quickly context-switch between intricate engineering profiles and operational or business functions as priorities shift.
- Entrepreneurial, problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive and create structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
