Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to a high-volume craft and hourly recruiting team, including workload delegation, performance feedback, development opportunities, goal setting, and recognition
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions: craft job ads, source candidates, screen applications, conduct interviews, present offers, and coordinate pre-employment tasks
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience through timely communication, role knowledge, and professionalism
  • Act as a business advisor to forecast staffing needs, analyze market data, and build strategies to shorten time-to-fill, raise quality of hire, and source for hard-to-fill, critical roles
  • Lead new position intake meetings with hiring leaders to ensure strong partnership throughout the process
  • Proactively build talent pipelines via sourcing tools, community partnerships, industry associations, and hiring events
  • Identify and reengage previous candidates and past employees for current or future opportunities
  • Ensure a consistent recruitment process across the organization with clear communication to hiring teams and candidates
  • Manage recruiting vendors, including agencies, background checks, and sourcing tools, ensuring quality and service levels
  • Track and report recruitment metrics; apply insights to refine strategies in partnership with HR leadership and business units
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment workflows while maintaining compliance
  • Partner with business units and HR on succession planning and internal mobility
  • Champion the company employment brand across recruiting networks, tailoring content for craft and salaried audiences
  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition
  • 3+ years of experience managing a high-volume recruitment team
  • Experience in the AEC related industry to understand project-based workforce needs is highly preferred
  • Degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities focused on team development
  • Excellent customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build positive relationships and connect with others
  • Independent judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Analytical mindset and comfort using data to inform decisions
  • Commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience
  • Ability to identify, attract, and evaluate quality candidates
  • High initiative, drive, professionalism, and business acumen
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Arabic is a plus but not required
