Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic talent partner by building trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leaders; serve as a consultative advisor who challenges assumptions, refines role requirements, and elevates hiring standards
- Develop targeted hiring strategies that translate workforce needs into effective sourcing and recruiting plans, incorporating market insights on talent availability, compensation, and industry hiring trends
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process from intake and sourcing to screening, interview management, offer negotiation, and onboarding across multiple concurrent requisitions
- Proactively source top talent by engaging passive candidates through advanced methods (LinkedIn, referrals, networking, market mapping, AI tools, and niche platforms) while building diverse, high-quality pipelines
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with high touch, transparency, and engagement; align expectations early and maintain consistent communication throughout
- Drive interview and decision excellence by facilitating structured processes, ensuring timely feedback, and guiding hiring teams toward data-informed decisions
- Lead offer strategy and negotiation, developing competitive offers, managing complex compensation discussions, and driving high acceptance rates
- Leverage market and industry expertise to position the company competitively and advise stakeholders on hiring trends and the talent landscape
- Manage pipelines and recruiting operations, tracking pipeline health, handling multiple searches efficiently, and driving strong time-to-fill through proactive candidate management
- Use data to drive results by monitoring key metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, and cost per hire, and providing actionable insights
- Continuously optimize processes by identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing scalable, data-driven recruiting best practices
- Champion employer brand as a brand ambassador across candidate and market interactions; represent the company at industry events and recruiting initiatives
- Lead diversity and early talent efforts by supporting inclusive hiring strategies and maintaining relationships with universities and talent communities
- Ensure compliance and best practices by adhering to employment laws, company policies, and equitable hiring practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, compensation, and external vendors to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality hiring solutions
Requirements
- 5 – 8+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience
- Proven success sourcing and hiring passive candidates for specialized or hard-to-fill roles
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted advisor
- Experience managing multiple requisitions in fast-paced environments
- Expertise in ATS systems and sourcing platforms (for example, LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Strong analytical skills with experience using recruiting data to drive decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of traditional and creative AI sourcing tools and modern recruiting technologies
- Background supporting both technical and business/GTM roles
- Experience in insurance, financial services, technology, or other regulated industries
