Job Description

Engage Search invites an ambitious business development professional to join our onsite executive recruiting practice in Brentwood, TN as a Recruiting Manager. This role combines strategic relationship building with senior level selling, offering a clear path to expanding a high impact executive search capability. You will engage with senior decision makers, drive new business growth, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes leadership excellence, collaboration, and measurable impact. Compensation includes a base salary in the range of USD 75,000 to 95,000 per year plus commission, along with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and win new clients seeking executive search and leadership talent solutions
  • Build relationships with C level executives, CHROs, VPs of Talent Acquisition, and other business leaders
  • Sell services tailored to client needs
  • Develop a strategic territory or industry focus to sustain pipeline growth
  • Lead high level discovery meetings to understand organizational structure, hiring needs, and leadership gaps
  • Present tailored executive search solutions and value propositions
  • Negotiate contracts, search agreements, and engagement terms
  • Collaborate closely with executive recruiters and research teams to ensure successful search execution
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and accurate forecast using CRM tools
  • Stay current on executive compensation trends, leadership hiring strategies, and market intelligence
  • Represent the firm at executive networking events, industry conferences, and leadership forums

Requirements

  • 3 to 7+ years of business development or sales experience, with executive search or professional staffing strongly preferred
  • Proven success selling high value, consultative services to senior decision makers
  • Strong understanding of executive recruiting processes and leadership hiring cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with C suite and VP level stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with solid pipeline management and closing ability
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Bullhorn
