Job Description

Christus Health offers an onsite Talent Acquisition role in Longview, Texas, centered on hospital and healthcare staffing within a corporate setting. As a Recruiter I, you will manage full lifecycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding, leveraging an Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn, social media, and various job boards to connect with high caliber candidates while engaging with senior stakeholders. This role reflects Christus values of dignity, excellence, stewardship, and compassion and supports the mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle end to end, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Actively source top candidates from multiple channels, including cold outreach, ATS screening, LinkedIn, social platforms, job boards, and networking
  • Lead the recruiting process for both managers and candidates while maintaining direct communication
  • Perform thorough telephone screening and work history review to evaluate skills, experience, interest, and availability
  • Convey a positive impression of CHRISTUS Health by staying informed about products, history, and benefits
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and provide scheduling support
  • Conduct needs analysis for new requisitions to capture job needs and requirements
  • Negotiate offer terms with candidates
  • Communicate recruiting strategies and progress to leadership and stakeholders
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to maintain accurate candidate data
  • Hold regular touchpoints with hiring managers
  • Meet or exceed Talent Acquisition SLA timeframes
  • Export, filter, navigate, and communicate data from recruitment reports in Power BI while auditing data integrity
  • Represent CHRISTUS values in the community while supporting the mission to extend the healing ministry

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 0-2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Previous HR or recruiting support experience preferred
  • Strong communicator who can present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings
  • Ability to manage a full desk and requisition load
  • High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Impeccable customer relations skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • HR Certification a plus
