Job Description

Christus Health is seeking an onsite Recruiter I - Talent Acquisition in San Antonio, TX to manage full life cycle recruiting for hospital and healthcare roles within a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proactively source top candidates using multiple channels including cold outreach, ATS searches, LinkedIn, social platforms, job boards, and professional networking.
  • Coordinate and drive the recruiting process for both hiring managers and applicants, maintaining direct relationships throughout.
  • Perform thorough phone assessments through structured interviews and work history reviews to evaluate skills, experience, interest, and availability.
  • Project a professional image of Christus Health by staying informed about products, history, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules and provide interview support.
  • Perform needs analysis for new requisitions to confirm understanding of job requirements.
  • Negotiate offer terms and package details with candidates.
  • Convey recruiting strategy and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate data.
  • Hold regular check-ins with hiring managers to review progress.
  • Meet or exceed Talent Acquisition SLA timelines.
  • Extract, filter, and share recruitment data from Power BI reports while auditing data integrity.
  • Uphold Christus Health values of dignity, excellence, stewardship, and compassion in the community while fulfilling the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous HR or recruiting support experience preferred.
  • Effective communicator capable of presenting information to candidates and hiring managers in one-on-one and small-group settings.
  • Ability to manage a full desk and multiple requisitions.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • HR certification is a plus.
