Job Description

Autokiniton seeks a Corporate Recruiter to direct full-cycle recruitment, oversee a recruiting team, and advance employer branding, candidate experience, and innovative sourcing strategies from the New Boston, Michigan onsite office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, interview, and recommend candidates for open roles.
  • Review applications and assess work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications.
  • Hold intake meetings with hiring managers to capture business needs, define role requirements, pinpoint critical skills, and align on candidate profile, sourcing plan, and hiring timeline.
  • Evaluate job orders against candidate pools using manual or computerized file searches.
  • Advise management on the most qualified candidates to pursue.
  • Maintain productive relationships with all levels of management to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Develop partnerships with search firms, placement agencies, colleges, universities, technical schools, and job fairs.
  • Build and sustain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill automotive manufacturing positions.
  • Choose recruiting sources and techniques to attract qualified candidates.
  • Support the candidate onboarding process, including pre-hire screens, onboarding, and orientation in collaboration with local Human Resources.
  • Extend offers to selected candidates.
  • Coach and guide hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay informed of developments in compensation, employee benefits, and general HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Recruiting or Business Administration.
  • Minimum six years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local interviewing, employment, and recruiting laws.
  • Strong time management, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to sell, influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and maintain objectivity in decision making.
  • Professional certification is a plus.
