Job Description
The Recruiter role at Paul Davis Restoration of Portland / Vancouver is an onsite position based in Vancouver, WA. It focuses on sourcing, engaging, and moving candidates through a full‑cycle hiring process, building talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers. The role operates on a swing shift from roughly 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and offers compensation in the range of $25 to $32 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, Indeed, networking, referrals, social media, industry groups, and other creative sourcing methods
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
- Reach out to passive candidates to stimulate interest in opportunities
- Review resumes and applications to assess fit with role requirements and company culture
- Conduct initial screenings and phone interviews
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate efficient progression through the interview process
- Maintain consistent candidate communication throughout the recruiting cycle
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and leadership to understand workforce needs
- Support recruiting events, job fairs, networking, and community outreach initiatives
- Assist with onboarding activities and recruiting administration
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting records
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, sourcing, talent acquisition, sales, customer service, or business development preferred
- Strong sourcing instincts and proactive outreach beyond inbound applications
- Comfortable initiating outbound calls and messages to engage prospective candidates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport and deliver positive candidate experiences
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, ownership-driven attitude with accountability
- Proficient with recruiting technology, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
