Job Description

BrightStar Care of Hunterdon invites you to join our on-site recruiting team in Clinton, NJ. This full-time Recruiter role supports sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals for two BrightStar Care sites in Hunterdon County and Mercer County. You’ll manage multiple open positions while ensuring alignment with licensing and regulatory requirements. The role offers a base salary of $75,000 per year plus a performance-based incentive, with opportunities to contribute to community-focused home health staffing.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Source, recruit, and hire qualified healthcare professionals, including Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and other home healthcare staff to meet ongoing staffing needs across both Hunterdon County and Mercer County sites.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Use job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events to identify and engage candidates.
  • Candidate Tracking: Maintain detailed documentation of candidate status within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Screening and Interviews: Conduct phone screenings, coordinate interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications and fit for each role.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline so the team can respond to staffing needs without delay.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all hires meet licensing, certification, background check, and driving record requirements in line with state and federal regulations.
  • Community Outreach: Attend job fairs and recruitment events, and build relationships with local trade schools, community organizations, and professional groups to source talent.
  • Offer Management: Prepare and manage contingent offer letters and supporting documentation.
  • Reference Checks: Conduct thorough reference checks to confirm candidate reliability and compliance.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with candidates to support engagement and long-term retention.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand staffing priorities, timelines, and challenges.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track and report performance metrics such as time-to-fill, sourcing efficiency, and retention to improve outcomes over time.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to source candidates across job boards, social media, ATS platforms, and other recruitment tools.
  • Experience managing compliance steps such as licensing, certification, and background check processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort managing multiple open requisitions at once and adjusting priorities as needs change.
  • Availability for an onsite role based at our Hunterdon County office, with occasional out-of-office work for job fairs, conferences, and community events.
  • Experience recruiting in home care, home health, or another healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with New Jersey healthcare credentialing and licensing, including CHHA certification and RN/LPN verification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation

$75,000 base salary, plus performance-based incentive compensation tied to the number of successful hires.
