Job Description

This full-time, on-site Healthcare Recruiter role supports Concord Medical Group in Abilene, Texas. The position focuses on sourcing and placing Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and allied health professionals, with a particular emphasis on rural and regional nurse staffing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate candidates for local and regional assignments across RNs, LVNs, and allied health roles.
  • Develop and sustain candidate pipelines through proactive outreach, referrals, and targeted strategies.
  • Arrange interviews, perform initial screenings, and manage follow-up communications with applicants.
  • Maintain candidate profiles using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
  • Foster long-term relationships with candidates, including those in travel nursing and PRN markets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal staff in the Abilene, TX office.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of nurse staffing experience, ideally within a staffing agency or healthcare system.
  • Experience in healthcare staffing, with a focus on nurses (RNs, LVNs) or allied health professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of the allied and nursing staffing communities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in outbound recruitment, including cold calling and lead generation.
  • Experience navigating ATS and CRM software.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Residence in or near Abilene, Texas, with daily on-site availability.
