Job Description

APIC Solutions, LLC is seeking an on-site Corporate Recruiter in Albuquerque, NM to drive the early stages of talent acquisition. The role focuses on proactive sourcing, building robust candidate pipelines, and delivering high-quality candidates to hiring managers across APIC locations. This position emphasizes strategic outreach for specialized and hard-to-fill roles while collaborating closely with hiring teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored sourcing plans for each open requisition, choosing channels, messaging, and outreach tactics aligned with role type, market dynamics, and urgency.
  • Proactively identify and engage top talent through active sourcing, networking, cold outreach, and social media channels such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future openings, including hard-to-fill and licensed trades positions.
  • Design strategies to attract a diverse slate of qualified candidates.
  • Nurture ongoing relationships with past applicants and potential candidates for future opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, innovative recruiting methods, salary benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including screening calls, structured interviews, and reference checks.
  • Independently evaluate candidates against standard and priority criteria, verify licenses, assess FLSA classifications, and consider skills scarcity.
  • Provide succinct shortlists to hiring managers with summaries, screening notes, and independent recommendations.
  • Document candidate evaluations, disposition rationale, and pipeline status accurately in the ATS.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and company culture.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on market conditions, timelines, compensation benchmarks, and sourcing challenges.
  • Guide hiring managers on interview practices and candidate selection.
  • Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to schedule interviews and ensure candidate follow-through.
  • Negotiate offers and manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator on offer letters and pre-employment coordination.
  • Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies during recruitment.
  • Provide onboarding support as needed for new hires.
  • Independently manage and prioritize an active multi-requisition pipeline, balancing urgency, role type, and time-to-fill targets.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to craft and post job advertisements for all positions.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire; deliver regular updates to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS in coordination with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
  • Represent APIC professionally at job fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Exercise discretion in candidate market positioning, including messaging, compensation framing, and employer value proposition.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate future hiring needs and build proactive talent pipelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years of full-cycle recruiting or dedicated sourcing experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or HR Certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP).
  • At least 3 years of recruiting experience in construction or trades strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently source and engage passive candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience making independent candidate assessments and hiring recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Direct experience with HRIS or HRMS; familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and applicable state and federal employment laws.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to promote the company and job opportunities to candidates.
  • Ability to build rapport with candidates at all levels.
  • Self-directed, results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfort in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the position.

Compensation

  • USD 50,000 - 60,000 per year DOE plus recruiting commission
