Job Description
The Toro Company invites applications for a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full cycle recruiting for corporate functions from our Bloomington, MN campus on a hybrid schedule. The position partners with HR and hiring managers to shape sourcing strategies and deliver high-quality talent in a fast paced environment, with a focus on candidate experience and compliant processes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to talent acquisition strategies that align with TTC business objectives.
- Develop and sustain strong partnerships with HR leaders and hiring managers to clarify openings and hiring needs.
- Employ diverse sourcing methods, including professional networking, community outreach, and proactive outreach, to attract candidates and build a long term candidate network; utilize standard tools and generate innovative ideas for sourcing.
- Actively pursue a diverse candidate pool, including women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and workflows.
- Evaluate candidates through phone screens and behavioral based interviews.
- Serve as a talent advisor, guiding assessment, offer negotiation, and sound judgment on candidate viability.
- Prioritize requisitions efficiently and work independently to fill positions in a timely manner.
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned or identified.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 7 years of progressive, corporate environment, full cycle recruiting experience; manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners.
- Solid understanding of local and regional market dynamics and candidate supply and demand.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruitment tools; Workday experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws with a focus on talent acquisition.
