CDL A Recruiter

Nomad Freight seeks a CDL A Recruiter to join the onsite recruiting team in South Elgin, Illinois. This role centers on sourcing CDL drivers and supporting the office-based recruiting operations; prior trucking industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with CDL drivers to gauge interest and gather essential details.
• Guide candidates through the hiring process from application to onboarding.
• Review and process driver applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize recruiting platforms such as Indeed to source qualified candidates.
• Provide daily support to the recruiting team and assist with routine tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in the trucking industry is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sales or customer service background is a plus.
• Experience as a CDL A driver is a strong advantage.
