Job Description

Nomad Freight seeks a CDL A Recruiter to join the onsite recruiting team in South Elgin, Illinois. This role centers on sourcing CDL drivers and supporting the office-based recruiting operations; prior trucking industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

Engage with CDL drivers to gauge interest and gather essential details.
Guide candidates through the hiring process from application to onboarding.
Review and process driver applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Utilize recruiting platforms such as Indeed to source qualified candidates.
Provide daily support to the recruiting team and assist with routine tasks.

Requirements

Experience in the trucking industry is mandatory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Sales or customer service background is a plus.
Experience as a CDL A driver is a strong advantage.
