Job Description
Based in Pasadena with a hybrid work setup, Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Temporary Senior Campus Recruiter to build meaningful university partnerships, run campus recruiting programs, and guide candidates through the hiring lifecycle. This contract role supports internship programs and full-time offers across multiple universities, coordinating with faculty, administrators, and student organizations to cultivate a strong talent pipeline.
Overview
Location: Pasadena, CA (hybrid). Compensation: USD 36 - 57 per hour. Job type: contract. The role emphasizes developing university relationships, executing campus recruiting activities, and managing candidates from requisition through offer, while supporting internship programs and full-time placements across several campuses.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with universities, engaging with faculty, administrators, students, and student organizations.
- Plan and execute campus recruiting efforts, including on-campus presentations, career fairs, mock interviews, and resume review workshops.
- Identify and facilitate leadership opportunities on campus.
- Coordinate and deliver in-office events with attention to logistics, scheduling, cross-team collaboration, and on-site support as needed.
- Manage candidates throughout the hiring lifecycle, create requisitions, ensure timely processing, and extend offers.
- Assist in updating campus presentations and keep calendar appointments accurate and up to date.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Three or more years of campus recruiting experience within a professional services firm preferred; candidates with assurance, tax, or consulting experience seeking a career change will be considered.
- Proven ability to attract and hire high-quality talent, strong relationship-building skills, and leadership aptitude to drive collaboration in a matrix environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with excellent written and verbal communication and superior customer service.
- Proficiency in Workday, MS Office, and other Talent Acquisition tools preferred.
- Critical thinking and the ability to offer creative solutions when partnering with the campus team and business units.
- Travel during peak recruiting season expected to be 25-50%.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Execute the 9-week Summer Internship program, guiding interns through onboarding, training, and client work, and overseeing the full-time conversion offer process.
- Direct the college relations strategy and recruitment action plans for multiple universities.
- Monitor the recruitment budget for primary campuses and partner with teams to optimize spend.
- Implement inclusive sourcing strategies to identify a diverse slate of qualified candidates.
- Identify, interview, and manage candidates across the recruiting lifecycle, maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Coach and guide teams in conducting effective on-campus and in-office interviews.
- Collaborate with the broader campus recruiting team to promote Baker Tilly as the employer of choice on campuses.
- Maintain a steady focus on the local market, sharing market intelligence with the campus team and key client groups.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system to capture all recruiting and hiring activity.
- Participate in committees and handle ad hoc projects, providing periodic updates to the People Manager.
