Job Description
Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter to lead recruitment, onboarding, and various HR initiatives with cross-functional collaboration at the Raleigh, North Carolina site.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to shaping the HR talent acquisition strategy by helping establish goals, processes, and systems that influence recruiting outcomes.
- Support talent acquisition and candidate experience initiatives; work with management on job descriptions; evaluate candidates; leverage available tools to search and recruit qualified candidates; coordinate and conduct interviews; maintain accurate records; and track recruiting activities.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for a heavy workload, ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Proactively source and build robust talent pipelines through networking, direct outreach, industry events, and partnerships with external organizations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective strategies to attract top talent.
- Utilize multiple recruiting channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify qualified candidates.
- Monitor recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and drive process enhancements.
- Assist with onboarding new hires at the site, coordinating activities to ensure a positive experience.
- Ensure compliance by completing required documents and processes for company and government guidelines.
- Recruit for and support the Summer Internship Program, including travel to regional colleges and universities.
- Support positive and proactive employee relations efforts.
- Contribute to developing a site culture aligned with diversity, equity, inclusion, wellness, security, safety, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR, ideally within high-volume exempt recruiting with a focus on technical roles.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and navigating various ATS, preferably with automation implementation.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects while staying organized and process-oriented.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Effective prioritization to address critical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels within the organization.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Customer-focused mindset with a high sense of ownership.
