- Manage external recruiting channels (job boards, schools, associations, and approved agencies) within agreed guidelines, with agencies treated as an approved exception.
- Provide timely candidate feedback and coordinate pre-hire steps (offers, background and DOT or medical clearance, and onboarding handoff) to support on-time start dates.
- Ensure recruiting practices follow company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Meet recruitment metrics such as time to fill, center staffing coverage, applicant response time, new-hire retention, candidate and hiring-team satisfaction, and diversity.
- Consult with center leadership and hiring managers by coaching on interviewing, selection, and onboarding best practices.
- Deliver training on recruiting processes and tools, and set clear expectations for who owns each step of the hiring process.
- Support new-hire retention by setting realistic expectations before hire and supporting onboarding during the first week.
- Track and analyze your recruiting metrics, share insights with TA leadership and center leaders, and adjust based on performance data.
- Participate in special projects including EVP, HR technology enhancements, and automation and AI initiatives in the recruiting funnel (test tools and share field feedback).
- Follow TA standards and playbooks; maintain accountability to the TA scorecard and KPIs, ensuring dispositions, reason codes, and requisition data are complete and current for reliable reporting.
