Job Description

This remote, contract Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full lifecycle recruiting across technical, engineering, and select non-technical roles. The position partners with hiring managers, builds strategic sourcing pipelines, and ensures a high-quality candidate experience aligned with Thermo’s culture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to capture role requirements, essential skills, and team dynamics.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies for technical and engineering roles.
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn, social media, referrals, university channels, and tailored talent pipelines.
  • Evaluate candidates for technical qualifications, relevant experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, gather and relay feedback, and maintain timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide compensation guidance informed by market data and internal equity considerations.
  • Oversee the candidate lifecycle in the ATS to ensure accurate, real-time tracking.
  • Conduct reference checks, verify credentials, and maintain compliance with hiring practices.
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics and share insights to drive process improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience in construction recruitment, professional services, engineering environments, manufacturing, or agency settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and sourcing tools.
  • Strong interviewing and assessment capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license, be eligible to work in the United States, and remain fit for duty.
