Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Nyman Associates, Inc. is an onsite position in Fort Washington, PA, focused on sourcing and recruiting for clinical student support services while embodying the company brand.
Responsibilities
- Execute the outreach recruitment strategy to attract qualified candidates.
- Develop creative approaches to source passive talent.
- Serve as the primary contact and cultivate relationships with active and passive candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Identify and attract qualified candidates through ATS, online job boards, job fairs, social media, and professional networks.
- Research and engage community career services, colleges, internet databases, and other sources to build meaningful relationships and a robust talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Maintain an active presence on job boards, social networks, and sourcing platforms to connect with candidates.
- Screen candidate resumes and job applications.
- Conduct screens and interviews to assess experience, skills, and cultural fit within designated timelines.
- Articulate role details and company needs to interested candidates.
- Schedule interviews in person and virtually.
- Consult with hiring managers to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates and act as a recruiting partner.
- Provide well documented recruiting reports to the team.
- Offer ongoing feedback to managers regarding the effectiveness of the recruiting plan, process, and implementation.
- Coordinate college recruiting initiatives including scheduling and attending career fairs, meet and greets, and class presentations for clinical teams.
- Coordinate and attend conferences.
- Handle other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of recruiting experience, with a focus in education or healthcare recruiting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong foundation in sourcing and recruiting across diverse roles, with working knowledge of job boards and social platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, Facebook, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven success conducting interviews via phone, video, and in person.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to apply systematic approaches to problem solving.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and shifting demands.
- High level of computer proficiency, including experience with ATS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using Workday as an ATS is strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Thoughtful and confident communicator who can guide candidates through a fast-moving recruiting process.
