Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person and phone interviews, evaluating candidates with standardized templates and processes, applying behavior-based interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Present pre-screened candidates to management through a standardized, consistent process.
  • Model recruitment best practices and troubleshoot issues with team members.
  • Demonstrate diversity awareness and use sourcing techniques that reach diverse populations.
  • Clearly communicates the Life's Best Work employee value proposition when engaging with candidates and Hiring Managers.
  • Follow the TA gated sourcing process as defined.
  • Follow the predefined sourcing recipe per job family or code.
  • Escalate sourcing challenges to the manager when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing team to leverage short- and long-term marketing campaigns by function.
  • Share updates on candidate flow outcomes (volume and quality), market reactions, and awareness of local and national branding.
  • Pipeline candidates as needed per the sourcing recipe and the roles being recruited.
  • Generate referrals by actively promoting the Employee Referral Program to employees and via cold calling.
  • Establish a credible presence with Hiring Managers and candidates, addressing questions about the enterprise and the industry.
  • Advance candidates through stages and statuses per the candidate SLA, using the correspondence library.
  • Debrief Hiring Managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process in line with the SLA for the position.
  • Maintain market and business intelligence related to function and unit alignment. Per the role SLA (Gold or Bronze), collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop an understanding of position requirements, department goals, and the organization’s business plan.
  • Assist Hiring Managers with candidate evaluation, offer negotiation, and process troubleshooting, including reviewing internal salary references, market compensation data, and market intelligence to recommend offer package components.
  • Understand Hiring Manager and Business Leader perspectives to communicate concerns and share ideas using constructive communication techniques.
  • Apply knowledge of recruitment-related employment laws, including underutilization criteria, moving candidates through proper steps based on BAQs, and providing gender and ethnicity information in accordance with regulations.
  • Develop action plans for aging requisitions and keep management informed of progress in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Coordinator to initiate offer processing, including pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with applicant tracking (i.e. Taleo) and/or CRM systems.
  • Experience in high-volume hiring.
  • Ability to recruit for a broad range of positions and skill sets.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR, SPHR, CPC certifications.
  • Proven knowledge of Puerto Rico employment law including EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines.
  • Experience recruiting/hiring on a national, multi-site basis.
  • Search firm experience.
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare or IT positions.
  • Proficiency in marketing and sourcing techniques including internet sourcing, cold calling, college alumni networks, and interactive strategies.
