Mutual of Omaha is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment in a hybrid setting anchored in Omaha, Nebraska. This role partners with hiring leaders to translate business goals into talent strategies, guiding candidates through a professional, efficient, and engaging recruitment journey that supports organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full recruitment cycle for a diverse slate of roles, from entry level to executive, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and executives to interpret business needs and design tailored sourcing strategies that attract top talent.
- Manage a high volume of open positions while sustaining high-quality candidate submissions and timely delivery.
- Cultivate a positive candidate experience by building strong relationships and maintaining professionalism throughout the process.
- Apply data-driven insights to refine recruiting workflows, improve sourcing methods, and achieve better hiring outcomes.
- Advocate for the employer brand by communicating the company culture and values as an employer of choice in the insurance sector.
Requirements
- 5+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience with a proven track record of filling roles across multiple levels, including specialized positions, while handling several requisitions at once.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute recruiting plans aligned to business objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to serve as a trusted advisor and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Project management experience, capable of coordinating multiple recruitment projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to overcome challenges.
- Eligibility to work in the Omaha, NE office in a hybrid work environment.
Benefits
- Estimated salary bands related to HR roles: HR Specialist ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 with a bonus opportunity; Senior HR Specialist ranges from $75,500 to $100,000 with a bonus opportunity.
