Responsibilities
- Manages and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Works with department managers to define detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Identifies and implements efficient recruiting methods aligned with the role, industry standards, and organizational needs
- Supports job postings and advertising efforts
- Screens applications and identifies qualified candidates
- Coordinates interviews and helps prepare interview questions and other selection materials
- Participates in the interview process, meeting with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and related details
- Collects and analyzes data to track recruiting metrics such as time to fill and source effectiveness
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Attends college job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
- Completes special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience or a combination of work and education may be substituted
- 3+ years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Experience recruiting or sourcing for a civil engineering company is preferred
- Strong LinkedIn sourcing knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
