Responsibilities

  • Manages and implements all phases of the recruitment process
  • Works with department managers to define detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Identifies and implements efficient recruiting methods aligned with the role, industry standards, and organizational needs
  • Supports job postings and advertising efforts
  • Screens applications and identifies qualified candidates
  • Coordinates interviews and helps prepare interview questions and other selection materials
  • Participates in the interview process, meeting with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and related details
  • Collects and analyzes data to track recruiting metrics such as time to fill and source effectiveness
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Attends college job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience or a combination of work and education may be substituted
  • 3+ years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Experience recruiting or sourcing for a civil engineering company is preferred
  • Strong LinkedIn sourcing knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
