Talent Acquisition Recruiter in Overland Park, KS (hybrid) focused on proactive sourcing, full-cycle recruitment, and delivering a strong candidate experience.
Responsibilities

- Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain a network of prospective candidates through proactive outreach.
- Create and sustain a talent pipeline for future openings.
- Guide candidates through every stage of the lifecycle from job creation to offer, ensuring a positive, well-informed experience.
- Develop, post, and maintain high-quality job descriptions and postings with consistency and compliance.
- Track recruitment performance using KPIs and adjust efforts to meet goals and identify improvement opportunities.
- Leverage recruiting technology such as ATS, CRM, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Review applications and monitor candidate progress using the internal applicant tracking system.
- Partner with business leaders, department heads, and hiring managers to clarify requirements and craft effective recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with the business, HR, and hiring managers to shape compensation recommendations and negotiate offers ensuring competitive packages.
- Provide regular updates on candidate pipeline and progress, adjusting strategies as needed to hit hiring goals.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience and nurture relationships for future opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including EEO, OFCCP, and affirmative action requirements.
- Operate in alignment with Black & Veatch's vision, mission, and core values, emphasizing safety, respect, and quality.
- Lead and support change initiatives through planning, communication, and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience with candidate interviewing, employment law, EEO/AAP, and problem solving/conflict management.
