Job Description
Equinox is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner in New York, onsite, to strengthen its sales and retail recruiting efforts. This role centers on building a proactive pipeline for Membership Advisor and Retail Manager on Duty roles, collaborating with field leadership to understand hiring needs and ensuring a strong, brand-aligned candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with field teams to assess hiring needs and identify core recruitment challenges.
- Design and implement targeted recruitment programs to attract top candidates, perform thorough screenings, and maintain a strong recruiting presence and positive candidate experience.
- Source and screen resumes and applications, and conduct in-depth interviews for assigned departments.
- Utilize online sourcing channels and internal recruiting tools to identify top talent.
- Deliver full lifecycle recruiting with strong client service, including workforce planning, special search assignments, and support for new club openings.
- Coach candidates for interviews by sharing company context, business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and set expectations with hiring partners.
- Advise management and staff on employment policies and procedures.
- Plan and execute career and networking events to attract talent for Membership Advisor and Retail Manager on Duty roles.
- Conduct industry and competitor research to inform recruiting decisions and provide business recommendations.
- Identify and recommend new recruitment marketing opportunities.
- Coordinate regional participation in career events, including those tied to new club openings.
- Share recruiting metrics and data-driven insights to support workforce planning and influence hiring decisions.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Recruiting and Human Resources; campus recruiting is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to manage a high-volume candidate pipeline
- Proficiency in tracking and analyzing data
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and digital recruiting strategies (SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, UKG Pro, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills to manage candidates, clients, and the recruiting team
- Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment to meet KPIs
- Full-cycle recruiting experience: sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, wage and salary trends, job posting, networking events, in-person presentations, referral programs, and headhunting
- Strong Boolean search and resume database search skills
- Proven track record of delivering both tactical and strategic initiatives
- Keen eye for talent focusing on proven success, attitude, and cultural fit
- Ability to engage with and influence senior operations leaders
- Candidates must be able to work onsite at Equinox Headquarters in New York City
