The Talent Acquisition Consultant at Community First Solutions sources, engages, and hires compassionate professionals across campuses and service lines, partnering with hiring managers to build pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This hybrid role is based in Hamilton, Ohio.
Overview
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to support our growing organization and connect compassionate professionals with meaningful careers across our campuses and service lines in Hamilton, Dayton, and Mason. As a brand ambassador for Community First Solutions, you will source, engage, and hire talent who are driven to make a difference, collaborating with hiring managers to develop creative sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates through resume databases and professional networking sites.
- Builds and maintains a recruitment pipeline for both active and passive candidates.
- Maintains timely communication with candidates and hiring managers to keep candidates engaged; develops pipelines for current attrition and future growth postings.
- Develops varied recruitment methods to provide a diverse candidate pool.
- Uses proprietary software to establish candidate searches and conduct mobile and email campaigns to talent communities.
- Makes verbal and written job offers; collaborates with the Hiring Director on negotiations and counter-offers.
- Cultivates relationships with schools, technical programs, community organizations, and other recruiting sources; participates in job fairs and events to maintain a regular school presence.
- Collaborates with Marketing to create and support recruitment branding and campaigns across print, electronic, and social media.
- Identifies difficulties with searches and works with senior management to resolve barriers to hiring.
- Provides regular updates on the status of each search to management.
- Updates candidate statuses in ATS and other recruitment systems.
- Communicates effectively with candidates via phone, email, or video.
- Manages multiple open positions concurrently.
- Performs administrative tasks as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least two years of experience.
- Prior recruiting in healthcare, caregiving, nursing, behavioral health, or a comparable industry is preferred.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system is required.
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive candidate sourcing by phone, including cold calling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Shows initiative, a sense of urgency, good judgment, and escalates concerns as needed.
- Highly personable and professional demeanor.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; computer literate.
- Experience with ATS, HRIS, or payroll software is preferred.
