Job Description

TransUnion is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to focus on early career hiring, delivering full-cycle recruiting in a hybrid Chicago environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to capture hiring needs across diverse roles and convert them into effective recruiting plans.
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer discussions, and closing requisitions within defined SLAs.
  • Drive and support recruiting programs and initiatives that optimize processes, candidate experience, and talent outcomes.
  • Develop and sustain proactive talent pipelines aligned to current and upcoming hiring needs.
  • Leverage market research, sourcing methods, and outreach messaging to engage passive candidates and strengthen pipelines.
  • Provide a superior candidate experience through consistent communication and efficient process management.
  • Counsel hiring managers and interview teams on best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Offer data-driven insights and market intelligence to influence hiring decisions and talent strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to advance enterprise talent initiatives and improve recruiting outcomes across the organization.
  • Represent the talent acquisition team at conferences, career fairs, and university events.
  • Partner with recruitment programs on event strategy and execution.
  • Embed inclusive recruiting practices to ensure diverse candidate slates in every search.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, delivering end-to-end processes and high-quality hires across multiple roles and stakeholders.
  • Strong sourcing and talent market knowledge to engage passive candidates via market research, Boolean searches, and targeted outreach.
  • Experience influencing hiring managers and business leaders using data and market insights to shape hiring strategies.
  • Ability to evaluate talent and guide candidates through the process while maintaining a high quality candidate experience.
  • Proven ability to contribute to or lead initiatives that improve recruiting processes, efficiency, or outcomes.

Team Overview

  • The Global Talent Acquisition team partners with business and commercial leadership to attract, engage, and hire high impact sales talent that supports TransUnion's growth strategy.
  • The team helps ensure inclusive, high performing teams aligned to TransUnion's mission to make trust possible across the enterprise.
  • This role reports to a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition.
  • Hybrid position with regular virtual work and in-person duties at a TransUnion office location for at least two days per week.
