Job Description
MEDRINA - CORPORATE TEAM is seeking a Talent Acquisition and Retention Lead for a full-time, remote role based in Chicago, IL. This position splits focus evenly between non-clinical recruitment and employee retention initiatives, and reports to the VP of HR. The salary is USD 80,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and the ATS, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, scheduling, and offer negotiations.
- Build candidate pools through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and proactive outreach; develop innovative sourcing for current and future pipelines.
- Apply advanced sourcing techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search to engage passive and active candidates while shortening time-to-fill.
- Partner with hiring managers to capture staffing needs, create formal job descriptions, set selection criteria, develop interview scorecards, and establish hiring timelines.
- Maintain a compliant, professional candidate experience aligned with employer branding standards.
- Maximize use of existing systems and implement approved, ethical AI tools where appropriate.
- Stay current on federal and state hiring laws and EEOC compliance; support audits as needed.
- Drive retention outcomes by maintaining a 90 percent new-hire retention rate; develop job descriptions and onboarding plans in collaboration with the VP of HR and hiring managers.
- Support onboarding to enhance early engagement and productivity by shaping training plans for new hires; monitor progress through 30/60/90-day check-ins and related activities.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data for trends, and report monthly to the VP of HR; use insights to improve onboarding and remote transition processes.
- Develop and manage employee engagement and development initiatives to foster a positive remote culture.
- Use data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition and retention initiatives; collaborate on compensation planning and monthly reporting with the VP of HR.
- Promote inclusive hiring, selection, and retention practices; facilitate trainings for hiring teams on recruitment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, psychology, marketing, or related field; or 10 years of recruitment and selection experience with SHRM-PHR/CP certification.
- Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition.
- Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms, MS Office suite, and Adobe.
- Proven ability to develop candidate pipelines, engage passive candidates, and use social media and AI responsibly.
- Experience designing and delivering talent retention initiatives.
- Experience as an HR coordinator or generalist, with understanding of other HR functions.

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds.
