Job Description

GM Financial offers a strategic executive talent acquisition role in Fort Worth, TX with a hybrid work model. This position focuses on identifying, attracting, and hiring senior technology leaders (AVP and above) by partnering with executive leadership to understand talent needs and deliver diverse, high-quality candidate slates through end-to-end searches. You will influence technology leadership across engineering, data, digital, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture, while benefiting from a generous, day-one benefits package, a culture grounded in integrity and collaboration, and a flexible work environment that supports growth and belonging. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior technology roles, spanning engineering, data, digital, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture leadership.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and HR to align hiring with business priorities, leadership gaps, and succession plans.
  • Develop and maintain executive talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and market engagement.
  • Provide market insights on talent trends, competitor activity, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Assess candidates for leadership capability, cultural fit, and long-term potential.
  • Manage the full hiring process, including stakeholder alignment, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding support.
  • Oversee external search partners to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Improve recruiting effectiveness by refining tools, processes, and best practices, while coaching team members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere while navigating complex situations
  • Experience understanding KPIs, metrics, and their impact on candidate experience
  • A habit of over-communication to create transparency in the hiring process, building trust and brand recognition for the recruiting team
  • Partner with senior leaders to establish an effective executive hiring model and success metrics that enhance the candidate experience
  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience, with the ability to attract diverse, qualified slate candidates
  • Capable of linking talent strategy to business goals and communicating this narrative to prospective candidates
  • Strong networking skills with a track record of building pipelines for senior leadership roles
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional recruiting teams on mid-senior level searches
  • Experience crafting executive recruiting strategy and executive hiring reports
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior executives and candidates through interviews, feedback, compensation discussions, and final offers
  • Comfort using AI tools to support daily work and ensure responsible, compliant use
  • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, bias, and compliance
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows to boost efficiency and insight
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Commitment to responsible AI use, including privacy and data protection considerations

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Greater than 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources
  • 3-5 years leading through mentorship in related field
  • 3-5 years leading projects and initiatives
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
