This onsite role in Troy, MI combines leading full cycle recruiting for skilled trades and facility management with AI powered sourcing and a commission based earnings structure. Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement
  • Recruit for skilled trade and facility management roles including HVAC Technicians
  • Recruit for Refrigeration Technicians
  • Recruit for Journeyman Electricians
  • Recruit for Journeyman Plumbers/Pipefitters
  • Recruit for Controls Engineers
  • Recruit for BAS/BMS Technicians
  • Recruit for Maintenance Managers
  • Recruit for Mechanical Designers
  • Recruit for Industrial Maintenance Technicians
  • Recruit for Building Engineers
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, assess qualifications, and present options to clients
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, negotiate offers, and support onboarding
  • Apply advanced sourcing strategies across job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, databases, and trade platforms
  • Build and maintain active pipelines of skilled trade professionals
  • Engage passive candidates through creative outreach campaigns
  • Develop long term relationships with candidates and industry professionals
  • Leverage AI powered sourcing and recruiting tools to improve efficiency and engagement
  • Utilize automation, Boolean search, CRM/ATS systems, and data driven recruiting techniques
  • Continuously identify new technologies and recruiting methods to stay competitive
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to understand client hiring needs
  • Stay informed on labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and trade demands
  • Provide consultative hiring recommendations and talent market insights

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within skilled trades
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within facility management
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within MEP/construction
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within industrial maintenance
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within building automation
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within mechanical/electrical recruiting
  • Proven success recruiting technical and trade professionals
  • Strong sourcing and candidate generation experience
  • Experience using ATS, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing platforms
  • Familiarity with AI recruiting tools and automation technologies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently
  • Existing network within facility management or skilled trades industries
  • Agency recruiting experience
  • Experience working in a commission driven environment
  • Advanced Boolean sourcing and internet recruiting skills
