Job Description
Gallagher Benefit Services is seeking a Sr. Insurance Recruiter to lead the full-cycle recruitment of client service professionals within the employee benefits brokerage space. This six-month remote contract presents an opportunity to drive strategic talent acquisition initiatives with the potential for a full-time conversion, supported by a team that prioritizes data-driven hiring and collaborative partnership.
Overview
The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Greater Los Angeles or Orange County area. This role targets a true talent hunter with a proven track record of recruiting client service professionals in the employee benefits brokerage space, delivering results through proactive sourcing and structured hiring approaches. The engagement is six months, with strong potential for conversion to a Gallagher role.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process from intake to offer, managing a dynamic requisition load with speed, quality, and precision
- Proactively build and engage talent pipelines by tapping into social media, professional networks, and employee referrals, connecting with active and passive candidates
- Leverage cutting-edge recruiting tools and technology to identify, assess, and attract top-tier talent
- Conduct in-depth interviews and skills assessments, providing thoughtful insights that elevate hiring decisions
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners and hiring leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on recruiting strategy, market trends, and best practices
- Educate and influence hiring managers on effective talent acquisition strategies, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process
- Continuously refine job descriptions and role profiles to attract the right talent and align with business needs
- Drive data-informed recruiting, tracking sourcing effectiveness, analyzing results, and delivering clear, actionable insights to leadership
- Lead offer strategy and execution, ensuring a compelling candidate experience through to close
- Champion recruiting excellence, staying ahead of industry trends and implementing best practices
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, while collaborating with senior team members to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience
- Proficient with employment laws and related compliance issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
