Job Description
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter for AWS to shape candidate generation strategies in collaboration with clients and hiring teams. This high-visibility role sits within a global recruiting organization that supports AWS and is based onsite in Seattle, WA. The position offers a salary range of USD 82,700 to 126,100 per year and requires a minimum of three years of technical recruiting experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring teams to design effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches while aligning stakeholder expectations through a solid understanding of return on investment.
- Target passive candidates and evaluate fit and motivation rather than simply pitching the role.
- Develop and sustain a network of potential candidates via proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conduct thorough interviews to anticipate hiring manager preferences, reflected in strong interview-to-offer ratios.
- Recommend recruitment ideas and strategies that support long-term growth, implement new processes, and refine standard recruiting practices in line with Amazon's mission to deliver high quality customer results.
- Document recruiting plans with defined deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
- Conduct interviews in alignment with the position specifications.
- Screen and interview candidates and present an ideal slate within a consistent timeline.
- Collaborate with the business, HR and Compensation to define salary ranges and negotiate offers with candidates.
- Contribute to special projects and recruiting initiatives, evaluating interviewing best practices, leveraging internal talent sources, and identifying top performers for senior-level openings.
Requirements
- Three or more years of technical recruiting experience in high-volume, high-expectation environments.
- Experience designing and executing candidate sourcing and closing strategies.
