Job Description
Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to internal and external customers while leading the daily employment office functions.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with potential candidates.
- Coordinate site interviews with the appropriate hiring manager to identify qualified candidates for project specific requirements and extend contingent employment offers in line with federal and state law.
- Manage assigned employment requisitions, including reviewing, editing, and granting final approval.
- Track and report staffing plan data using software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other databases.
- Assist in building and managing Employment Staffing Plans by entering information related to hiring requirements.
- Create and update job descriptions based on project scope and work.
- Coordinate redeployment initiatives by proactively communicating with employees before anticipated end dates.
- Handle operational and administrative aspects of the hire process, including background checks, drug screening, health screening, I-9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, and site-specific requirements.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal partners at the job site for portions of the employment process, acting as lead for processing or recruitment efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with recent work hiring engineering professionals within the nuclear power industry.
- Direct experience recruiting for I&C, electrical, mechanical, and civil/structural engineering, with a focus on plant modifications, design engineering, and system upgrades.
- Proven ability to evaluate candidates against nuclear-specific requirements, including experience supporting design packages, field walkdowns, system ownership, and familiarity with NRC regulations and nuclear plant operations.
- Experience recruiting for digital controls, legacy system upgrades, and instrumentation/control systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting project-based hiring where schedules, mobilization dates, site needs, and technical depth are critical.
- Proven ability to work independently as the sole engineering recruiter supporting business leaders and hiring managers.
- Strong sourcing experience with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates through multiple channels.
- High sense of urgency with strong follow-up, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ATS systems quickly.
