Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete hiring agenda for the Pflugerville location, aligning with business needs and goals.
  • Meet weekly and monthly hiring targets to sustain workforce plans.
  • Implement hiring strategies established by corporate recruiting leadership.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, requirements, and hiring plans.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake to offer, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social networks, networking, and direct outreach rather than waiting for applicants.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for both hourly and salaried roles.
  • Lead the offer process, including verbal offers and negotiations.
  • Oversee pre-employment steps such as background checks, testing, and verification.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless start for new hires.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and hiring trends to inform strategy.
  • Support recruiting initiatives across additional markets as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience in electrical or construction skilled trades, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to build pipelines and fill roles in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for hiring outcomes.
  • Ability to take strategic direction and execute with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication with the capacity to influence hiring decisions.
  • Skill in managing multiple roles and priorities concurrently.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and hiring practices.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience working with an ATS or CRM.
