This onsite Recruitment Officer role focuses on coordinating hiring activities and communications with candidates and managers to ensure a professional, efficient experience. Responsibilities
- Design and oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, ensuring a consistent, efficient, high‑quality candidate journey from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop and implement sourcing plans to engage active and passive candidates through referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and additional digital channels.
- Post openings on employment platforms, social media, and other channels, and participate in recruitment events such as job fairs.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and support candidate evaluations.
- Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Document recruitment and selection activities for audit and compliance purposes.
- Maintain up-to-date candidate records, databases, and applicant tracking systems with ongoing status tracking.
- Prepare recruitment and human resources reports and metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and talent source insights to improve efficiency.
- Manage onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Develop and maintain current job descriptions.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and documentation.
- Collaborate on retention, training, and organizational development initiatives.
- Keep recruitment guidelines updated in line with regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and Puerto Rico labor laws, including equal employment opportunity, discrimination, and hiring policies.
- Experience managing compliance-focused processes, including ATS systems and digital recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms).
- Ability to develop innovative recruitment strategies and strengthen employer branding.
- Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High organization standards and meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and recruitment metrics.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work collaboratively in dynamic environments.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
