Job Description
Semper Fi Heating & Cooling is seeking an onsite Recruiting Manager in Mesa, AZ with a salary range of USD 75,000 to 80,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding
- Develop and maintain recruiting strategies to attract top talent
- Create and manage job postings across multiple platforms, including Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Paychex Flex, social media, trade schools, military transition programs, and other recruiting channels
- Source active and passive candidates for HVAC, Plumbing, Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Leadership positions
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluations
- Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and recruiting functions as needed
- Promote and confidently communicate the benefits of working at Semper Fi Heating & Cooling
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or onboarding experience
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades, home services, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar industries strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment processes
- Experience with I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirements
- Experience using Paychex Flex or similar HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple openings and deadlines simultaneously
- Professional, confident, and persuasive communication style
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and recruiting platforms
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
