Recruiters, Contract x2

Vaco is seeking two hands-on Contract Recruiters in Cincinnati, OH (onsite) to deliver immediate recruiting coverage for current and upcoming hiring needs. This contract role supports full-cycle hiring and proactive candidate sourcing across multiple professional functions.

Role Overview

In this position, you will manage active requisitions with minimal ramp-up and work closely with hiring managers to understand candidate needs, expectations, interview coordination, and market feedback. The work includes building sustainable candidate pipelines, with particular focus on the Cincinnati-area market. Compensation starts at $30 per hour, with pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Own active requisitions and manage full-cycle recruiting with minimal ramp-up
• Proactively source and engage passive candidates
• Recruit across marketing, sales/field sales, engineering, and other professional functions
• Build strong candidate pipelines, particularly within the Cincinnati-area market
• Partner closely with hiring managers on candidate needs, expectations, interview process, and market feedback
• Learn the organization and roles thoroughly enough to represent opportunities to candidates effectively
• Facilitate interviews and maintain strong onsite collaboration with hiring managers
• Use Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other approved sourcing tools

Requirements

• Full-cycle recruiting experience, with the ability to quickly take ownership of requisitions
• Demonstrated success with proactive and passive candidate sourcing
• Strong hiring-manager partnership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively attract and “sell” candidates on opportunities
• Recruiting experience across professional functions such as engineering, marketing, sales, or field sales
