Recruiter (Technical / AEC Industry)
Job Description
Tectonic MSA LLC is seeking a full-time, onsite Recruiter to source, engage, and place technical talent for current and upcoming nationwide roles, with a preference for candidates with A/E/C or other technical backgrounds. This position is based in Mountainville, NY.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast hiring needs for each role and develop effective sourcing approaches.
- Design creative recruiting strategies to identify talent and proactively cultivate a robust, diverse technical talent pipeline.
- Source, track, and nurture candidate relationships while ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of sourced candidates and prospective positions.
- Screen resumes and candidates to determine fit for current and upcoming roles.
- Manage a high-volume candidate flow while preserving a positive candidate experience.
- Perform all other related duties as required.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of relevant experience; recent recruitment experience in the A/E/C industry strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction management, inspection, and engineering consulting roles is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Flexible approach to assignments and priorities in response to the company’s needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant recruiting software.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups at various levels within an organization.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Good practical judgment and the ability to apply sound decision-making.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and to handle documents, materials, and equipment as needed, sometimes repetitively. Occasional movement within the office to access file cabinets and machinery, with the potential to exert up to 10 pounds of force. The role also involves consistently receiving and conveying detailed information.
Pay Range
Pay Range: USD 26.00 - 36.00 per hour.
