Job Description

On-site Talent Acquisition Specialist role in Indianapolis focused on high-volume full-cycle recruiting, with primary ownership of apprenticeship programs in development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process across assigned Keystone divisions, including Energy; Agronomy; and Feed, Livestock & Grain
  • Lead recruiting efforts tied to apprenticeship programs currently in development
  • Build partnerships with high schools, career centers, training programs, community organizations, and other partners to identify candidates for apprenticeships and entry-level hiring
  • Develop strong working relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to improve recruiting outcomes
  • Partner with hiring managers to create recruiting strategies for open roles, ensuring job requirements and expectations are clearly understood
  • Create and maintain a qualified candidate pipeline for both current and future hiring needs
  • Develop applicant flow for open positions and manage external partnerships
  • Source and screen candidates using a range of channels, including internet job boards, employee referrals, internet search engines, resume mining techniques, social media, job fairs, associations, and vendors as needed
  • Support a positive candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding
  • Manage candidates professionally through interviews, including scheduling, setting expectations, providing feedback, and supporting offer negotiations
  • Follow up consistently with hiring managers and candidates to keep the process timely
  • Participate in hiring discussions by gathering and consolidating interview feedback and facilitating the hiring decision
  • Assist with high school grad rotational and college internship programs as needed
  • Maintain accurate applicant and interview data
  • Prepare and extend offers of employment and assist with pre-employment steps
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Clear understanding of full life cycle recruiting
  • Proven success in sourcing strategies, direct sourcing, and creative candidate generation
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to partner with and coach hiring managers through the recruiting process
  • Excellent interviewing skills to build rapport with candidates and gather information from hiring managers
  • Effective verbal and written communication, including comfort presenting to large groups and/or working job fair booths
  • Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills across all levels
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and judgment, with a positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ATS, and data mining/internet research
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws
  • Customer service aptitude and ability to work as a team player
  • Minimum 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting early-career and/or entry-level roles
  • Connection to or knowledge of agronomy/agriculture is helpful
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Some travel is required and may increase during Fall & Spring recruitment seasons
  • Although hybrid, must be able to work from the Indianapolis office four days per week and travel as needed
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite)
