Physician Recruiter
Job Description
The Physician Recruiter role supports provider recruitment across Southern New Mexico, based in Alamogordo, NM, with up to 40 percent travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for physicians and advanced practice providers across Southern New Mexico facilities and clinics.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top clinical talent, including direct outreach, networking, and attending recruitment events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residency and fellowship programs, medical staff leaders, and community partners.
- Conduct candidate screens, coordinate interviews, manage travel logistics, and uphold an exceptional candidate experience.
- Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership to understand workforce needs and define candidate profiles.
- Track recruitment metrics, document activity, and ensure accurate reporting within applicant tracking systems.
- Represent the organization at recruitment conferences, job fairs, residency events, and community engagement functions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare, or related field.
- Must reside in Alamogordo, NM or the surrounding area.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
Hybrid of local travel, regional travel, on-site meetings, and remote administrative work. The incumbent must be able to travel independently across Southern New Mexico as needed.
