Job Description
At Nidec Motor Corporation, the Manager, U.S. Talent Acquisition leads the U.S. talent function from a St. Louis, MO campus, combining hands-on full-cycle recruiting for critical and leadership roles with strategic process design, metrics, and team development to raise hiring performance. This onsite role partners with HR leadership and business leaders to translate business priorities into a scalable talent strategy and execution plan.

Responsibilities
- Own the performance and continuous improvement of the U.S. Talent Acquisition function.
- Establish scalable recruiting processes, standards, and service expectations for consistency across the organization.
- Develop and execute a Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business priorities and workforce needs.
- Continuously assess practices and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, hiring outcomes, recruiter effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Lead the evolution of the function toward a best-in-class recruiting organization.
- Create recruiting metrics, reporting, and accountability measures to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters; establish clear goals and performance expectations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Align recruiting resources with business needs and hiring demand; provide guidance and development opportunities for recruiters.
- Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition partner to HR leadership and business leaders; build credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Consult with leaders on workforce planning, market conditions, recruiting strategies, and hiring challenges; partner with hiring managers to improve decisions.
- Personally lead searches for key, complex, and leadership-level positions and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Guide hiring teams through intake, assessment, selection, and offer processes with a focus on a high-quality candidate experience.
- Oversee the use of Workday Recruiting and other tools to ensure efficient operations, data integrity, and compliance.
- Monitor workload, team performance, and hiring activity to meet service levels.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and best practices to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience.
- 3+ years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience with responsibility for team performance and outcomes.
- Proven success building, improving, or scaling recruiting programs, processes, or functions.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Experience recruiting across professional, engineering, operations support, and corporate functions.
- Experience using data, metrics, and analytics to drive recruiting decisions and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting or comparable ATS.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and recruiting best practices.
