Job Description

CR Sustainability, Inc. seeks a seasoned Lead Recruiter to manage high-volume field staffing across the United States, building the recruiting infrastructure and metrics needed to support venue and event operations.

Overview

The Lead Recruiter directs recruitment for field positions across multiple venues and states, with a primary emphasis on high-volume hiring for event and venue operations and occasional support for administrative roles. The role includes designing scalable recruiting systems, defining workflows, and establishing metrics to sustain the company’s growth in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nationwide field staffing efforts to support venue and event operations, prioritizing high-volume hires and occasional administrative roles.
  • Build the recruiting infrastructure, including metrics, workflows, and scalable processes that enable ongoing growth.
  • Operate as a self-starter capable of creating structure where systems do not yet exist and managing recruitment in a rapid, high-volume setting.
  • Direct field recruitment across multiple venues and states, focusing on event and operations staffing.
  • Design and implement scalable recruiting systems to support hiring across markets and large staffing events.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for field positions to ensure a steady candidate flow ahead of staffing needs.
  • Create and maintain recruiting dashboards and tracking tools to monitor hiring activity and workforce readiness.
  • Establish and monitor metrics including Time to Fill, Time to Hire, Cost per Hire, Source of Hire, Applicant Conversion Rate, Offer Acceptance Rate, New Hire Show Rate, and 30-Day Retention.
  • Analyze recruiting data and trends to identify pipeline gaps, staffing risks, or process inefficiencies.
  • Partner with operations leadership to forecast staffing needs for events, new venues, and ongoing service operations.
  • Post and maintain job advertisements across platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
  • Review applications and conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications and suitability for field roles.
  • Coordinate interviews with site supervisors and hiring managers to move candidates efficiently through the hiring pipeline.
  • Manage large-scale recruiting for new venue launches, major events, or seasonal staffing increases.
  • Develop standardized recruiting processes and tools to support consistent hiring across locations.
  • Initiate onboarding documentation and monitor completion via digital onboarding systems such as DocuSign.
  • Submit and track background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements where applicable.
  • Process and manage E-Verify cases when required and ensure accurate employment eligibility documentation.
  • Coordinate with operations to confirm start dates, assignments, and readiness for new hires prior to first shifts.
  • Enter new employee information into payroll and HR systems and maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
  • Maintain organized employee documentation and ensure records are complete and compliant.
  • Communicate clearly with candidates, supervisors, and internal teams regarding hiring status, onboarding progress, and staffing updates.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes as the organization grows.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or HR coordination, with preference for multi-site or high-volume environments.
  • Strong preference for experience recruiting in working-class or blue-collar settings.
  • Spanish fluency is required.
  • Associate degree is required.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience using onboarding or HRIS systems (such as ADP, Rippling, or BBSI).
  • Familiarity with background checks, E-Verify, and employment eligibility compliance.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build rapport across all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • In-office work availability from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Willingness to travel for large-scale staffing events is preferred.

  • Schedule: In-office hours 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
