Job Description

Ultimate Staffing Services offers an onsite HR and Talent Acquisition Specialist role in Rockville, MD with a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000. This fully in-office position focuses on end-to-end recruitment while supporting core HR functions, onboarding, and employee relations. The role provides an opportunity to shape the candidate experience, maintain accurate HRIS records, and contribute to compliance and performance initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer negotiation
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Leverage job boards, social media, networking, and other sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates
  • Foster a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Track recruitment metrics and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
  • Assist with employee relations, policies, and compliance matters
  • Aid in performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR and/or talent acquisition
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and HR fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
