Hiring Manager / Talent Acquisition Lead

Piru Group is seeking a proactive Hiring Manager / Talent Acquisition Lead to build a stronger pipeline of top talent across blue-collar trades and executive leadership. This onsite role in Albuquerque, NM combines full-cycle hiring ownership with the ability to streamline onboarding using internal tools like Monday.com. If you like setting aggressive recruiting goals and driving outcomes, you will have the systems and support to execute.

Compensation is USD 20 per hourly, with a highly competitive base salary plus performance incentives that reward execution.

What you’ll do

• Own the full hiring lifecycle for every tier of the organization.
• Source and hire a range of roles including C-suite executives, federal grant writers, modular installers, finish carpenters, site superintendents, and property managers, among others.
• Run outbound recruiting using active methods such as cold-calling competitors, attending job fairs, building relationships with trade school professors, and using internet research to identify highly specific fits.
• Apply strict screening protocols so only highly qualified, hungry, and competent candidates reach the executive team.
• Adapt quickly across different company cultures, compliance standards, and operational requirements, including Piru Group, Builders Tech NM, EcoMod Ventures, and Build4Kidz.
• Overhaul onboarding pipelines by tracking candidate flow in Monday.com and executing weekly hiring objectives with clear reporting.

What you bring

• 2+ years of high-level recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR leadership experience.
• Direct experience hiring in construction, real estate development, or government contracting is highly preferred.
• A proven ability to place both blue-collar skilled trades and white-collar executive leadership.
• Tech-savvy approach to managing complex applicant tracking systems and delivering weekly data-driven hiring reports to the executive team.
