Job Description
The Technical Recruiter I leads development and execution of recruitment strategies for nuclear industry technical roles, builds a robust talent pipeline, and partners with internal stakeholders to support current and future business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continually refine recruitment strategies aligned with the technical and operational needs of a large nuclear contract labor organization.
- Plan and execute targeted sourcing campaigns leveraging modern technologies and platforms.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake, creating precise job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and final candidate selections.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and human resources to identify skill gaps and workforce needs, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Manage recruitment and promotional budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze year-over-year trends, and forecast budgets with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and optimize candidate databases and pipelines using MS Dynamics Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Develop relationships with industry associations, academic institutions, and professional networks to promote diversity and inclusion.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and labor laws related to safety and operational standards.
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to drive process improvements and enhance the candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Act as an employer brand ambassador by clearly communicating the company vision, culture, and values to attract top talent.
- Represent the company at recruiting events, networking functions, and industry forums to elevate market presence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus demonstrated professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in military recruitment with a proven track record of transitioning candidate engagement to selection for technical or industrial roles; nuclear industry experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and labor market trends relevant to technical or similar industries.
- Intermediate proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Intermediate proficiency with HR platforms (ADP).
- Intermediate proficiency with job recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or others as needed.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dynamics.
- Ability to work on-site full-time at the office.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States to support recruiting events and industry activities.
